Iran Classical Tour - 10 Days, 9 Nights

Travel to the land of great history, culture and awesome food. You will enjoy the fasanating captial city of Tehran and the beautiful historical Shiraz and it's gardens, you will be enchanted by the incredible beauty of Isfahan and visit the historical ruins of Perspolis and Pasargad whilst the hospitality of our people makes the trip the most pleasant memory ever.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Deutschland - Tehran

Fly to Iran and accomadate in the Hotel.

Day 2: Tehran
|
In this day we visit attractions of the capital: the national muesume, Niavaran cultrual complex and the Shah's palace.

Day 3: Tehran- Qom- Abyanhe
|
We travel to Qom, here we see the the sanctuary of Fatemeh from the outside. In the picturesque village of Abyaneh, the villagers and theire traditional clothing fascinates you.

Day 4: Nain - Mohamadiyeh - Yazd
|
In Nain, we visit the Jom-e Mosque with it's tall, fire-retardant minaret. In the village of Mohamadiyeh, we observe textile weavers, as they shoot the shuttle at their traditional looms between the threads with the speed of light. We then continue to Yazd, located at 1200m altitude and on the edge of the Kavir Desert. Visit the burial towers of the Zoroastrian religion (the so-called "Towers of Silence") and the Fire Temple. |
Day 5: Yazd – Abarkuh – Pasargadae – Shiraz |
In the early morning we stroll through the old town with the Jom-e Mosque and wind towers. Then we continue to Shiraz. On the way we will see Abarkuh the huge ancient cypress and visit the Pasargada which is the tomb of King Cyrus. In the evening we arrive in Shiraz.

Day 6 Yazd - Isfahan
|
Shiraz is popularly known as the city of roses and the nightingales: here we stroll through the Eram botanical paradise garden, then we are enchanted by the exotic scents of the spice shops in the Vakil Bazar. Our afternoon will be accompanied by literature. The tomb of the poet Hafez offers us a peaceful ambience and the sacred mausoleum of Ali Ebne Hamzeh and the shiny mirror mosaics complete our day. These are just a few of the many attractions in Shiraz.

Day 7: Isfahan
|
Today we leave earlier than usual becuase 2500 years of history awaits us. Persepolis a huge site with 20m high columns and royal palaces with audience halls has much to tell. The ruins show the ancient capital of the Achaemenid kings Darius and Xerxes. Not far from the royal residence we visit the royal necropolis Naghsh e-Rostam. We shall continue to the plateau of Isfahan, which was formerly Safavid capital, and is still one of the most beautiful cities in the country, which is praised and considered to be "half of the world".

Day 8: Isfahan
|
A detailed visit of the impressive Imam Square with it's palaces and turquoise domes and the subsequent arts and crafts bazaar is on the program. We also visit the historic bridges (Khadjou and the 33-arch bridge (Si-o-se Pol) and the Armenian Vank Cathedral.

Day 9: Isfahan – Nantanz – Teheran |
We travel back to Tehran via the expressway. On the way we get a glimps of Natanz the mosque and the Sufi shrine.

Day 10: Tehran - Deutschland
|
In the morning or night you will be transfered to the airport and you'll fly back to Deautschland.
